Is it me or does it seem like collecting and customizing is practically petering out? I guess eventually some just grow out of it. But it seems like there's not as much interest any longer.
A bit late to the party, but I personally like the realm. It’s far less overstimulating than instagram and Facebook. I can come and go as I please and get to look for inspiration from some very talented creators. I used to have an instagram but found myself wanting to create more to get “likes.” Here it feels more like other artists appreciating each other’s work.
Collecting as a whole may be down largely due to the price of things now, might pick back up again
I think it's more with the predominance of Facebook, Instagram and tik tok there's just less traffic on older forums like Figure Realm, I post the bulk of my customs on Instagram now, it's just easier/more convenient
I think with the ability to 3D print your own custom parts the custom world is flourishing. If you simply search custom on ebay there are literally thousands of hits
