You can spray a paper towel with Lysol and wipe it down. If you're not concerned with getting it wet, I'd just clean it with with a soft brush using warm water and dish soap.
Action Figure ChatterHasbro Pink Ranger Problems (There's alot of them) in Action Figure Chatter by MercMouth Customs
Friday, November 15, 2019
   [Edit]
I'm just posting this here to warn anyone planning to buy the Lightning collection MMPR Pink Ranger, so you know what you're getting into before you buy.

The Pink Ranger has a host of problems:

1. Her sculpt looks unfinished. Her arms legs are too thin for the body, and the boots flare out too much at the top, making her look even smaller and scrawnier.

2. She's scaled too small even with the guy rangers. If you compare them she's the same size as the children Marvel Legends like Ms. Marvel. I think they should have made the girls the same height as the guys, even if it wouldn't be 100% show accurate.

3. The butterfly shoulders don't offer much range of motion beyond being able to pull the arms back really far, which won't look natural ...[See More]

The whole lightning collection line is a mess to avoid. The anatomy is abismal. And they have no excuse after years of making legends. The torsos are way too long. Maybe a neck length too tall. The torso looks stretched or elongated. Chiefly because elected to make the sculpt fit the articulation rather than fit the articulation into the sculpt. With very deep butterfly, upper torso ball and lower torso crunch, on an unmuscular buck. Doesn't fit. It's terrible. And the female body, which we have only seen in the pink ranger so far, the legs are too long. The mmpr figures the belt buckle morpher is terrible, to small and thin, the helmets paint q. C is terrible and often missing, same with weapon accessories missing paint, the newer series figures, has sculpted suit detail which is too deep ...

For the most part I've been fine with the male figures. I do agree the quality control is poor, and the scale is off, they should have been a bit taller to fit the 6in scale.

To be honest Lord Zedd is still the best out of the entire line so far. With him the sculpt works well with the articulation, it looks more natural and almost hidden. Definitely agree about his paints, I had to fix it to make him pop. The staff is definitely about a head too short. That said, this is the best Lord Zedd figure to date, and at the very least I think he is worth getting, even if you have to repaint him. The sculpt and the articulation is a thing of beauty with him, I was nothing but impressed with his range of motion and the care Hasbro put into designing his toy. I just wish the rest of the line had th ...

Action Figure ChatterVintage Tacky Stretchoid Warriors (Giraya Ninja); a sticky problem in Action Figure Chatter by argenta-2008

Do someone remember these? they were a japanese line of elastic figures, sold in the US as "Tacky Stretchoid Warriors" by Bandai. I had one as a kid and I loved them.

Question is, now I have 3 of them in my collection, but one of them has degraded, presumably due to heat, and has become very tacky and lost it's composure, so much that a bit of his hand has stuck to the box . Do you know some remedy to restore him to a better condition? I thought about baby oil, but not sure and I don't want to make matters even worse.

And, how do you think it's best to keep these elastic figures? in the box surely not as they get too hot, do I keep in a zip bag or I display them in the shelf in open air?

Action Figure Chatter3.75" scale hair casts in Action Figure Chatter by Mister Skeezler
Friday, October 18, 2019
   [Edit]
I'm looking to replace the hair piece on my 3.75" Mara Jade. I'd like to use something from the Marvel Universe 3.75" line, but I'd rather not buy the entire figure, if I could get a cast instead. Does anyone know if there's an online source for casts of hair pieces only? And if so, would a hair piece cast have the same flexibility as some of the more recent production pieces?...[See More]

The only way a cast is flexible is if it's cast with flexible resin, like Flex 30 by Alumilite. You'll have to ask the caster if they're willing to use that stuff.
