Super Powers (Kenner)This was the Super Powers figure that was popular due to the fact that you had to send in several proofs of purchase to receive this exclusive figure offer. The first time I saw it, it was the coolest figure ever with the shiny ax attached to a backpack. Why didn't they put this guy in the cartoon? Later, he was carded on both the second and third series cards. I never saw this figure carded in the aisles as a kid. I bought my first loose/complete Steppenwolf figure from Main Street Hobbies in 2001 for around $12.00. I bought another one with the comic on a website for around $28.00. Nowadays, a C-8/9 loose/complete Steppenwolf will run between $12 to $22.00 . A C-8/9 carded version will run about $55.00 to $70.00 for either the second or third series carded versions, due to both being rare to find.  by uhhuhhuh |
