AzraelAlright, so after dancing around this figure, mentioning him in other reviews, and taking good, long, hard looks at him, I've decided that it's finally time to review Moon Knight. Moon Knight here is one of the best AND worst Marvel Universe figures at the same time. For starters, he comes with good accessories. His bo staff, which is hard plastic so it doesn't bend, and a moonarang (not sure fi that's what it's called) which is better than the nun chucks his ML counterpart came with. His paint apps are pretty good, then again, there's not much to mess up on considering all they really needed to paint was the moon shaped logo on the chest. His body is... awkward to say the least. Like something that's drawn by Rob Lifield, big upper body, thin legs. When you take off his cape, you see how...[

Azraelokay, so I'm not really sure how I should feel about this Union Jack figure. He comes with some parts that other figures have yet to recycle which is obviously a plus, but his body...I never liked it. Long neck, beefy upper torso, it's like unless it's on moon knight, it really can't look good. Union Jack's paint job can vary greatly depending on what you're looking at. When I went to go buy it there was one that was god awful, hands down terrible, made me want to puke, and one that wasn't as bad. He comes with some nice accessories and a cool belt... that's... cool I guess. I think what I like most about this figure is the head sculpt, which looks just like the Marvel Legends Union Jack. Then again, come to think of it, that and the accessories are the ONLY cool thing about this figure,...[

Iron Man (Silver)Marvel Universe - Fury Files (Hasbro) - Wave 5

AzraelI'll start off by talking about the mold of this figure. It's a mold that Hasbro has used 3 times for Marvel Universe, red/gold Iron Man, the always unnecessary stealth Iron man, and this "Silver Centurion" Iron man. Surprisingly enough, this figure peg warms like crazy. This surprised me because frankly, this figure always seemed pretty cool to me. I guess it's just the mix of colors, the red the silver and the blue in the eyes just come together so nicely I found myself hypnotized, unable to resist my urges to whip out my wallet and slap 8 bucks on the counter. I gotta say, he doesn't disappoint. His paint, other than the cool colors, is spot on, with only one or two minor stray marks, which granted is mroe than there should be, but less than what there usually is. The weird tornado...[

AzraelJeezum crow Wolverine, when did you find the time to gain so much height?! X Force MU Wolverine stands tall and proud, taller than he should be in fact. Wolverine is definitely out of scale, and I plan on ranting about that face for a while! Moving on, I looked through 10 of these, and every one of them had terrible, terrible paint apps. And I mean terrible by early Infinite Hero standards. He's not too posable and can't pull off too many Wolverine-esque poses, but he can stand there menacingly, the scariest part being that he's TOO FREAKIN' TALL! I think the one thing he has going for him is that unlike the X men Origins Wolverine figs, his claws aren't molded together, which I suppose is both good and bad, because while he can get a bit more flexible, it's annoying when they get all out...[

Red HulkMarvel Universe - Fury Files (Hasbro) - Wave 4

AzraelWOO Red Hulk, everyone's favorite (?) overpowered super jerk! This guy is the standard Hulk body with two fists and a new head. Instead of having the normal bicep and thigh balls, he has ball jointed knees and elbows like the X Men Origins: Wolverine figures (minus the hip balls). In terms of sculpting this guy is great, it looks just like him. The paint apps are equally good, with dry brushing throughout, even on the hair, how crazy is that? Speaking of the hair, it's a mix of blue and red similar to Venom's outlines in Spider Man the Animated Series. While this may sound stupid, it certainly looks good, I mean, if it didn't I would've never bought it. I think y favorite part of this figure is how it packs a PAUNCH! However, it loses two points for lack of posability, he looks stupid...[

Hulk (Grey)Marvel Universe - Fury Files (Hasbro) - Wave 2

Collector1This was actually my second Marvel Universe figure. I had seen the original Green Hulk version but was put off by it do to the head sculpt. While the Grey Hulk has the same head, I am a fan of the Grey Hulk and felt that the scale really worked for this personality who has never been shown as exceptionally gaint, just really tall and overly muscled. Hulk has fairly standard articulation, swivel wrists and hips, hinged ankles, ball hinged, elbows, knees and shoulders. The head his a swivel as is the abdomen. The detail's are all really good with popping veins and tattered blue jeans. The theigs are shadded with gray paint, a similair shade to the Hulk's skin so I'm guessing it's suppose to be extra tears in his pants.
All the joints are good and tight, not too loose, perfect for possing....[

Captain AmericaMarvel Universe - Fury Files (Hasbro) - Wave 2

TheGreyGooseSo Captain America isn't a character I follow closely, in fact, I've never read a single comic with his name on it. However, saying I don't like him is far from the truth. I don't know what it is, he's just, cool. So I found his figure at ToysRus and being a big fan of the new 3 3/4 figures I had to have him. He has the same shield that you would expect, with rubber straps for his back and a plastic wristband to hook it to his arm, articulation is the standard MU as well. The one thing I don't like about this is the fact that it's Ultimate Cap. One of my favorite things about Captain America is his 616 costume, I don't care what you say, it's freaking amazing. Sadly, his Ultimate incarnation doesn't quit hav the same sensee of style. Everything about this figure is good, but I wish I knew...[

Silver SurferMarvel Universe - Fury Files (Hasbro) - Wave 1

TheGreyGooseSo I've been lusting after this figure for a while, and I finally got him. Silver Surfer is everything you want a Marvel Universe figure to be. His sculpt is pretty basic, but he really doesn't have anything that should stand out in terms of body type. His paint apps are probably the best I've seen from this line, he's shiny and unlike Black Spider-man the tint works well with the base coat. His surfboard looks great too, unlike other surfboards it's perfectly proportioned, rather than too big or just an elongated oval. His articulation is prett solid, and you can pose him in any way you want and he'll seem pretty in character. I only have one complaint and that's that he doesn't come with some sort of cosmic blast accessory. Iron Man came with a little tornado blast, even that repainted...[

TheGreyGooseSymbiote Spider-man, despite his notoriety, hasn't had that many figures to the best of my knowledge, this figure both makes me want one less, and makes me want to buy them all. I'll start with why I don't like it. It's paint apps are terrible, the eys are 2 different kinds of white and the blue tint doens't look good at all. The open fist open hand thing doesn't look good especially on a Spider-man figure, and he's a bit too tall. Now for why I like it. This figure is great for customs. I prefer to work in 3 3/4 inch figures, and as a fan of msot of spiderman's alternate outfits (Spider-man 2099, Spider-man Unlimited, Iron Spider, Scarlet Spider) I can safely say that this figure is one stop shopping, I can make them all from him! He's just the perfect Spider-man base, in fact, you can...[

Vash_15I'm gonna say it flat out. This guy is terrible, the paint is shoddy, the embossed webbing still has plastic shavings, the eyes are too big, the head is too small, and the guy's knee joints are on his shins. Don't be fooled if he looks decent in the package, I wouldn't let you PAY ME to have this figure. I lost his head and never bothered looking for it, he's just that bad, while the articulation is the standard for MU, the figure itself is probably the worst figure to come from the line. For 8 dollars I expect a figure with at least some kind of quality, but the piece of garbage I got when I ripped him out of his box was so bad I wouldn't feed it to a junkyard dog. If you want a Spider-man, get the 6 inch one you'll find right next to the MUs, because if you even THINK about getting this...[
