I've always been a fan of anime, ever since the 90's when it first started to get popular in the US, and as a fan of this era of anime I was always disappointed at the lack of Digimon figures, sure we get the odd Figuart or statue but I wanted a proper Angemon figure for my collection. This started as a damaged Angemon/Patamon digivolving figure, missing the wings which also formed the Patamon body. After fixing up the main part of the figure I transplanted some double ball joints into his back so I could attach wings. The top 4 come from the Winged Kuribo lv 10 mcdonalds happy meal figure, and the bottom 2 are a loaner from my Pit figma (after I took these pictures I put them back, if anyone knows where to find a pair of these wings or ones like them so I can have my Pit and Angemon figures at the same time let me know.) So after all these years I finally got a proper action figure of one of my favorite Digimon not burdened with any split apart patamon kibble.
Sweet. I still want a bunch of Digimon figures that don't really exist. I remember this Patamon digivolving toy - you made some great mods to it and it's a really nice piece now.
Don't see enough Digimon pop up. I remember considering this guy once, but wings are really expensive in my scale. Nice to see some rendition of him pop up. The wings look great!
