My second attempt at the one of the most iconic characters from the cult classic film, "Heavy Metal":Taarna! Pretty simple, just took the Thundra figure, gave her a repaint, sculpted the hair, eyepatch, boots and glove. The strap is fodder. I'm quite happy with she turned out, especially as this chracter will probably never get any kind of official action figure. Barely anyone even knows she exists in the first place.
For those unaware, Heavy Metal is an animated film released in 1981, featuring a soundtrack with artists such as Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, and Sammy Hager. The film was loosely adapted from several serials by the magazine of the same name. I highly recommend it, it's a great movie with a rockin' soundtrack.
A side note: At no point during the film does Taarna wear an eyepatch, I just thought it would look cool. Thanks for looking.~
