Here's a special project of mine, inspired by my friend Isaac Barnett's artwork. I've been eyeing the design for a while, just could not find the right alien base figure. None of them were quite right. So I took a different approach, and tried sculpting the figure from scratch. Used a sigma 6 figure, shaved it down, extended the arms and legs, and added modified alien warrior feet and a tail from the new Covenant xeno. Took me about 4 weeks to finish the sculpting, finished her up with a bone-white base coat and very light pink shading. Also a coat of clear gloss sealant, to give it nice slimy finish. (I tried to match the colors to NECA's neomorph figure.) The articulation isn't as impressive as a NECA alien, but the sigma joints offer more support. I had no problems whatsoever posing her, which is important when a single fall can shatter all your hard work into a thousand sad little pieces.
I used aves apoxie sculpt for the majority of the figure, and procreate putty(for flexibility) for the bits more prone to breaking.(spikes, fingers) Big thanks to my friend for letting me use his design, and thanks for looking!~
LOVE IT!!!!! Great look and feel!!!!! Sweet use of legos!!! You are definitely on to something here!!!! It totaly looks like a concept model out of Odd studios' workshop!!!!! Insane work my friend!!!!!!!
