This baaaaaaaaaaaad boy has been on the agenda for a while. When they announced there would be a large scale Doctor Doom, I plotzed. When I got him home, I liked most of it, but felt Victor needed a better 1/6 representation. I took my "12 inch marvel Doctor Doom and broke off the torso, as it was molded green plastic. I then cut off the neck and glue it onto the torso of a "14 inch rotocast movie wolverine. I modified the shoulder holes and inserted the doom arms so they retain 100% of the original articulation and glued it onto the waist. I sanded down the x-uniform design and glued on some pectoral and abdominal armor I cobbled together and gave the whole thing a chrome and gunmetal wash. I then pried the mask off the head of the original doom and sculpted a burned face for him around the existing eyes. I added a mouth and painted his new mug, adding tabs to the sides of the hollowed out mask so it is removable. I took some green fabric and made him a tunic, and then re sewed the existing cloak to give it a better fit. The last step was to add a belt from a "12 Pirates of the Caribbean figure which I distressed, a holster from a G.I. Joe Japanese soldier and a pistol from a "12 Cobra Commander. What I now have is a Doom that can be stripped down to just his armor, and I think he turned out pretty well. Of course, any removal of his robes is all Richards fault...RICHAAAAAAAAAAARDS!!!
