For my second attempt at Jim Lee Cyclops, I decided to change up the recipe a touch. I made Cyclops using a Blizzard figure mostly. The head is a cast from Casting Cave, the upper arms are from Grim Reaper, the pointing hand is from the newest Captain America and the boots are from a Rey Mysterio Jr WWE Elite figure.
I wanted to make this Cyclops a bit taller and buffer than my previous attempt, but its really hard to do with the bucky cap body. The torso is just too compact and short. Thankfully, the Rey Mysterio boots gave him a bit of extra height and the Grim Reaper’s biceps make him look a bit more bulked out.
I sculpted the straps on the boots, chest, wrists and thighs using apoxie sculpt. I also did the red x-logo on the belt as well. Painting this guy took a while. 3 different layers of yellow/orange and blue! Wanted the colors to be vibrant! I also used gold on the visor to make it really pop
