CREWOF2 recently asked me when I was going to make a Hector Hall custom, funny story, I already have. When Mattel announced plans for a gold helmet variant in wave eight, I thought that would be my Hector. And then I saw the pics. sigh. Never saw the variant at retail anyway. When the Guardian was released in wave nine, I had an epiphany. I did a head swap with a Dr. Fate and made a half helmet version of Kent Nelson and used the full helmet for my Hector Hall. The cape is made from Denim, painted gold. The boots and gloves were sculpted and the figure (where needed) was painted with acrylics. The collar is from a Marvel Legends Bullseye, sculpted on details and amulet.
Every time I see a comment from you praising any of the things I've done I have to step back and say "Really". I have such a high regard for the work you produce, your kind words mean a lot to me
There is a lot of great work out there. I feel like I am pushing myself because of what I have seen from others. Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.
Yo Hector , brother , I just love EVERYTHING! about this guy , you have made lots of great customs , but there is something special in this one , you can sense the love that went into making him , Magnificent Work , also may I suggest he become your new avatar , after all he is you!
My first love will always be the Flash. It was the first comic I remember picking up. Dr. Fate was the first slurpee cup though......Thanks again for all your wonderful encouragement. Big part of the fun of posting is looking forward to the interaction with you guys.
