I remember seeing this costume on Dazzler when I was about 13 and thinking - that is beyond cheesy camp. I grew to love it though especially with it recurring in the Zombies storylines last year. I wanted a first appearence Alison to display with my other classics. I sculpted the chest, bell bottoms, skates, cuffs, arm band, disco ball and zipper with Apoxie and used Daice for the collar to keep it flexable against her hair. The disco chain is pinched from SOTA Guile's dog tags. I'd wanted to use my spare FF4 Classics Invisible Woman cast that I got from BA and Dazzler seemed the perfect choice with those 80's bangs! A lot of people said the original was too round and cartoony looking but I think it suits the look pretty wel. I base coated her whole body mithril silver and did gradual cotas of white for the jump suit to give it a materialistic depth. Did didn't finish in time for the Winter of Women but I'm sure I have another entry floating in there somewhere ;)
This is true although to be fair, She Hulk and Marvel Girl have come out ok and Tigra looks to be good too - I guess we can only hope! I'd love to see an Outback Dazzler. too. Thanks for the compliments ladies and gents
pretty! I love seeing dazzler customs! I wish they would hurry up and actually make her. altho... maybe it is a good thing they haven't made her, habro might make her really ugly
