Orson Randall was the Iron Fist preceeding Danny Rand. He was also Danny's grandfather, of sorts. After spending decades in a drug-induced stupor, he redeemed his honour by dying in combat alongside Danny Rand.
I had just finished a couple of challenging customs, and was looking for a quick, easy one. I was trying to think what to do with the headless, handless Nick Fury I had. Then I remembered LooseCollector's amazing Orson Randall custom. I thought I'd take a crack at it...
I added the head and neck of Iron Fist to the Fury body. The hand are from Punisher. The belt is from Bucky, and the gun straps are plastic lock-ties and fodder. The head and belt sashes are also from Iron Fist. It's hard to tell from the pants colour, but I also wrapped some yellow vinyl underneath the belt to made a cloth belt that the sash attaches to. Finally, the chest dragon was glued on, with the bottom tail hanging freely, as not to hinder articulation.
