Spiderman Classics/Early Years (Marvel Legends) Custom Action Figure
Custom #:31727
Name:Spiderman Classics/Early Years
Custom Type:Action Figure
Toy Series:Marvel Legends
Creator:Cosmic Fantasy Customs
Date Added:August 8, 2011
Base Figure:Spiderman Sinister Six and other spiderman parts
Height:6.00 inches
This is the final spiderman I will be working on in the red and blue or classic costume (no more webbing). Well I used the Sinister 6 spiderman body I have left and added the snapshot spiderman arms and legs to him. The final part was the ben reilly or some hasbro spiderman who has web cartridge wrist bands. I liked how the body gave more of the 60s spiderman look and proportions. I used spray white plasti dip for the webbing and it turned out much nicer than my original. Comments, criticism and views always welcome and thanks for the support.

You can't help but love a good custom of spidey! To me with that head and the thin frame it's more of a Mike Wieringo spidey! Especially in the upside down photo!
Great work!

It looks wonderful and honestly I can not see what you did as it looks just like 3 in my collection with a little paint on them. So great job

thanks, it was one of those things, I did not plan on making him, but the pieces presented themself. Only the hasbro head of a ben reilly or other spiderman fig was the odd ball one.

Another great Spiderman. That spray does it work better than the dipping type?

thanks. the spray does work better than the dipping type, but does not make it as thick. To make thicker webbing you need more wires and endless coats of spray. My first set was 4 wires with a whole bottle of spray, you can see up close pics in the custom workstation part of the forums. There I have a tutorial and comparison shots.

thanks, this just happen to come out since I had to make my other version. the fig came in a large lot and it could have been that spiderman, I am not really sure. But thanks I really like how this came out and the proportions are how I imagine he would look.
