“You can call me Joker and as you can see I’m a lot happier” What’s not to love about this Joker? Love that joker! I wanted a much needed improvement of the existing figures as they all fall short imo. I used the Dark Knight Collection joker by Kenner as a body base and the leg joint from the 1989 Toybiz figure as well as his flower. Merging the two as well as adding a more rotund frame to his torso (joker is not skinny) and changing his jacket details etc really helped him sell the look. Then I resculpted his face with white epoxy resin and got the Kenner look for 1989 joker I envisioned. The hardest part was pairing those trousers!! So much effort for such a simple pattern! I used the hat from the animated joker made it hollow for his head to fit in then repainted it, made a long barrel gun from a legends of the dark knight joker and clone bazooka handle and then a standard revolver from a GI Joe one. Also his cane was an accessory I wanted. I made sure to get his purple jacket right colour wise and blended the back so it’s not obviously stuck on.
I’m really happy with him as he looks how a decent t Kenner style Joker should look for the 90s toy period.
