The history of this incarnation of Ronan the Accuser presumably mirrors that of his Earth-616 counterpart. At some point in the past he became an enemy of the Guardians of the Galaxy. In their last battle, the Guardians managed to steal the Kree Mact from him and fled with it to Earth, where they teamed up with the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D.. In response, Ronan send his pet Fin Fang Foom to Earth to attack the Helicarrier. He then contacted Nick Fury, and demanded the return of his Kree Mact and the surrender of the Guardians.
