Electric Trucking / Eco-Warrior Mudfighter II Ground Support Aircraft GI Joe (Eco-Warriors) Design: The Tyco GI Joe Electric Trucking set included a GI Joe helicopter. I’ve made a substitution in this set already, replacing the ICBM with the Phi-Star Transatmospheric Cruiser. So switching out the helicopter with something crazier for the Eco-Warriors made sense. Keeping a helicopter-ish vehicle also gave me a reason to keep Flint in the set as the pilot. Like GI Joe's own Night Raven, the X-Men jet is modeled after the real-world SR-71. The X-Men ’97 jet should be bigger than the Night Raven, extended with room for a dozen figures in a passenger area. But this toy is a super-deformed cutesy one-seater that doesn’t even register as representing the X-Men Jet at a first glance… Colors & Paint: …paint that jet green and any trace of a link to the X-Men is totally evaporated. And with the green paint, it moderately resembles the Mudfighter. Layer it with ToyHax decals and it's there. Sculpting & Modifying: None of this one. Thanks for looking. ![]() |
