During a particularly grueling character arc, Colossus lost his little sister Illyana (she got better), and he suffered a head injury. He then made the decision to switch sides, and joined Magneto's Acolytes. The X-Men were, of course, shocked. Colossus eventually saw the light and returned to the side of the angels, first joining Excalibur, and then going back to the X-Men.
I wanted a Colossus for my Acolytes team, so I started with Cyber as the base. I modded the hands, removing the claws, and added knuckle pads and 'bone' lines. I hand-made the shoulder-pads, the gauntlets, and the boots. The cape and tiara were left over from my last Acolyte custom. The head is, naturally, a spare Colossus head. Neck muscles were made from Machine Man's arm extensions. The collar and chest emblem were made from rubber and label tape.
