I can't stress enough how grateful I was to have Kenner/Hasbro to bring so many characters from the animated series to me in figure form when I was young. They went above & beyond, released figures that other companies might not of. I get these toys were for us kids so they thought we needed goofy action features or stupid, worthless, accessories with every figure? So I fixed a lot of their errors. But they also left some holes in my collection. So I have been making figures for years to try to fill in those gaps. Some of these are pretty obscure & may have only appeared in one episode. I guess that I'm just a completist from growing up in the ARAH GI Joe era. I think many people wanted a figure of The Condiment King, including myself. He was such a goody character, he kind of a stood out in the episode if you ask me? So I felt we needed this figure.

I felt like the mattel JLU Flash figure with his slender build was the perfect base for this figure. The 5 poa I felt was too small, so I used the 10 poa version. So the first thing I had to do was sculpt over all the joints that I didn't want. The elbow, knee, & waist articulation had to go. Once that was done, I started sculpting details to turn the Flash into the Condiment King. The tanks I already had from the Mr Freeze Mod. So I just used them. I mentioned GI Joe earlier, because the way I did the hoses from the tanks to the guns was much like almost every GI Joe figure from the ARAH line. This figure was actually a lot of work. I worked on him over time whenever I had some free time. But I am very happy with the end result.

The pics are W.I.P. pics and the completed new version. I'm pretty satisfied with this figure now & think he is definitely show accurate.

I do sell casts of his head, Condiment tanks & mustard & ketchup guns. If you want to try to make your own. Or if you don't have the talent, I can make the figure for you. So message me if you are interested in having a show accurate BTAS Condiment King in your display.
