The DEF figures in GI Joe were some of my favorites as a kid, including this version of Shockwave. I stripped/repainted the action force figure I used as a base, which was a pretty close fit for the vintage figure's look. Always work smart, not hard haha...Added a modded helmet from gridiron, as well as the exact gun the vintage figure came with. Vest and other accessories were from various classified figures and modded/painted to match the vintage figure. I also cut up a collar piece from a classified figure, modded/painted it. The head is from classified grunt, along with the neck, and they were also modded/painted. A fairly simple custom overall, just need the right parts and patience to match the details. Happy to have this for my DEF portion of the display and to go with the Headman I already made. Headhunters and Stormtroopers are also on the way!
