After watching the new Superman movie, I saw the spin master toyline at my local toy shop, I've been watching reviews since they were announced to be in 6" scale, unfortunately they are all almost exactly 6" so characters like Superman are smaller than what they should be.
That being said, the engineer is one of the smaller characters in the movie, so this figure will fit with the hypothetical future mafex Superman (or whatever Mattel will make), also with her being one of the weaker characters in the movie, I wasn't willing to pay crazy prices for her (and I don't think we'll see other figures of her) so I've decided to experiment a bit with this one.
The head was repainted (the heads on these figures are really good) and the body was modified to add articulation to her torso, wrists and ankles. I repainted her with both matte and glossy black trying to recreate the pattern of her suit, I also made some new accessories for her like her sawblade hand, a cannon arm and a jetpack.
She turned out pretty good looking, it's a fine start for this new DCU collection
