I made the Human Torch as an experiment with procreate putty and a handful of different layers of paint to simulate fire and look like Alex Ross' art on 'The Torch' mini series. He started out as the Walgreens exclusive ML Human Torch with a Marvel Legends Vision head. I then sculpted a bunch of flames out of procreate putty with a 60/40 ratio so they wouldn't snap off. Then I sprayed the figure with Montana Gold Silver Chrome, and then airbrushed Tamiya Clear Yellow, Tamiya Clear Orange, and then Model Masters Guards Red to simulate different layers of fire. Oh and then I threw him in a tennis ball container to look like the tube they displayed him in at the World's Fair.
Your sculpting of the fire is beautiful, but I don't think the coloring looks right. It is really beautiful colors, but just not fiery looking. I hate to say anything negative, and I sincerely hope that doesn't upset you. I know we all work hard on our customs, and everything looks extremely professional!
