Exposed to the same molecule-altering beam as the villainous Lizard, Spider-Man begins transforming into a giant spider! Desperately searching for a way to sop the transformations, Spider-Man goes on a citywide quest. Along the way, Spidey runs into his arch foe, Venom, who has also been transformed into a hideous beast. Unable to control his own change into the giant spider because of the stress of his battle with Venom, Spider-Man continues on with one goal in his mind - find and defeat the Lizard!

Experimenting with new ways to manipulate his own unstable DNA, the Lizard now finds himself able to change into a powerful alligator. Transforming during battle, the Lizard becomes even more ferocious and dangerous, using his powerful tail and jaws! And since the transformed Lizard moves underneath the city in his sewer tunnels, he can show up anywhere and anytime. So Spider-Man better keep his spider-sense on full alert, because the all-new Lizard is on the prowl!
