After a professional basketball career in Europe was ended by a debilitating knee injury, Kevin Nash turned his attention to professional wrestling. He debuted in 1990 for the WCW as “Steel”, one half of the tag team known as the “Master Blasters”, and later took on the personas of “Oz” and “Vinnie Vegas”.

In 1993 he entered the WWF as “Diesel”, the bodyguard of Shawn Michaels, but soon began to wrestle in singles competition. In 1994, Nash won all three titles comprising the WWF Triple Crown, and at that year's Slammy Awards won the MVP award, as well as the Best Tag Team award (with Shawn Michaels). He would later return to WCW in 1996 alongside Scott Hall - a move that would solidify his position as one of wrestling’s top stars of all time – and debuted in TNA in 2004.
Between WWF, WCW and TNA, Nash has won a total of 21 championships, and is a five-time world champion (four-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and one-time WWF Champion). He is also a twelve-time world tag team champion between the three promotions.

Nash was a member of “The Kliq”, an influential backstage group that included Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Scott Hall and X-Pac. He is also one of the three founding members of the New World Order (nWo), along with Hulk Hogan and Scott Hall.

Kevin Nash was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015.
