This animated series ran from 2003-2009, first airing on Fox Box, then known as 4Kids Entertainment, then ending on CW4Kids.
This series more closely follows the comics with the turtle's personalities than the 1987 series did, and was more serious in nature.
Set in New York City, it also follows the adventures from the beginnings in the sewer, to outer space, alternate dimensions, and the future, with all new villains later in the series.
