PINSOR: Dargon's fiercest friend and deadliest weapons expert! With BATTLE-BEETLE: his hot-tempered and high-strung land-steed!
Pinsor is the Shining Realm's most powerful weapons expert. His favorite pastime is arm-wrestling — a sport at which he's never been beaten. Fiercely obedient to Prince Dargon, Pinsor is the only warrior on Symbion who can control the restless Battle-Beetle. With his sleek and striding legs, crushing claws and restless energy, Battle-Beetle can power his way through the toughest obstacle!

Humorless and lacking in social graces, Pinsor's peasant background is readily apparent. However, as Dargon's fiercest friend, he is utterly reliable. His great physical prowess makes conventional weapons seldom necessary; it also offsets his own inability to lead.
Pinsor's many years as a soldier have gifted him with an amazing instinct in battle — he can intuitively sense danger and ambush. Loyal and eager to please, Pinsor would not hesitate to lay down his life for Dargon. Battle-Beetle, Pinsor's telebonded steed, requires constant attention to keep him from going completely berserk. Fueled by nervous energy, always moving with great speed and agility, Battle-Beetle is happiest in the thick of combat. There he completely loses control, and is incapable of restraint, until all enemies have been thoroughly smashed or incapacitated by his massive claws. Only Pinsor's soothing voice and gentle manner keep Battle-Beetle from being a true menace.
While I was hoping to find Skulk, I did manage to luck out with this fellow, and apart from a niggling issue or two, it didn't disappoint.
So, Pinsor is the old warhorse of the main cast. Every good action-adventure ensemble needs one, and he looks the part with his barrel-chested build and impressive mustache. Articulation is Sectaur-standard: ball-joint shoulders and hips, hinged knees and swivel neck. The paint is on-point, with no thin apps or overspill. I always loved the metallic tones and often-subtle airbrushing on these things.
Accessories are as good as any from the line, consisting of an axe, pistol, saber and particularly large shield. These lead into my only gripe with him, as his three-fingered hands are held just shy of palms-upward for some reason. Rather than catching...[See More]
