"An all-new line of highly detailed action figures based on the artwork of Greg Capullo from the world of BATMAN. Each figure includes multiple points of articulations and character specific accessories."
This figure includes a Court Of Owls mask, two swords that can be sheathed on the figure's back, two removable knives that can both sheath in one nonremovable belt sheath and six removable throwing knives that can all be sheathed on the figure's chest, as well as thirty points of articulation. Unlike many other figures produced by DC Collectibles, however, the Talon figure does not have head/neck articulation of any kind.
In the DC comics, the Talons are undead, trained assassins with advanced healing factors. Centuries ago, the Court Of Owls began choosing young men and women to eliminate their enemies. These knife-wielding assassins (Talons) were quick, quiet and precise. Before attempting to executing a target (usually with success), a Talon will state the following message: "[First and last name of target], the Court Of Owls has sentenced you to die!" Once a Talon has fulfilled his/her duties, they will be put in a casket until woken. The majority of known Talons in Gotham were defeated and cryogenically frozen by the Batman and his allies.
I love this figure! The Talons, just recently introduced to Batman's world, are without question some of his most formidable opponents and this figure displays their hostility. Armed to the teeth with knives and swords - and even a Court Of Owls Mask (customizers, take note,) the articulation and detail on the Talon are some of the best I've ever seen. DC Collectibles has really raised the bar with this beautiful rendition. There are so many weapons! I just can't believe it. It's like a GI Joe. I know this is far-fetched, but I'm hoping that DC keeps making Talons like Felix Harmon (The Gotham Butcher) and Calvin Rose. If you see this figure, I strongly suggest you pick him up. If not... the Court of Owls has sentenced you to die!...[See More]
