Bruce Banner was a brilliant, mild-mannered scientist until accidental exposure to the radiation of a gamma bomb unleashed his hidden dark side, transforming him into a raging brute with incalculable strength. He now becomes the Hulk whenever he is angry or outraged. The Hulk can further mutate into an incredibly powerful gamma-powered dinosaur when he needs even more strength to battle his fearsome foes.

The Rhino was a small-time criminal that was subjected to a top-secret experiment to give him superhuman strength and an artificial bulletproof hide. He turned on the foreign spies who paid for the process and started a career in crime working for himself.
