This version of Green Lantern features a green and black costume, and is accompanied by the green Power Battery accessory. Test pilot Hal Jordan, chosen for his strong character and heroic potential, was bequeathed the power lantern and power ring by the dying Abin Sur. Soon after, Jordan discovered Abin Sur's significance as one of many Green Lanterns and learned of the Guardians of the Universe.
One of the greatest of Earth's hero's and champion of the Silver Age, Hal Jordan has finally got a DC Classics toy treatment. Found him at a Target in Texas and snatched him right up, being the only one left on the pegs.
Hal has the standard DC Superheroes/DCU Classics male body with a brand new head sculpt. The body appears to be molded out of green plastic with black paint. The hands are made of white plastic with the forearms painted white on black plastic. The boots are painted green and the feat are made of emerald plastic.
The ring his amazingly well done. Instead of just a lump of plastic on his fist, it is carefully sculpted to look like the ring from the comics which just blew me away. I'm giving props to Mattel for that one!

Hal is pretty much what we were all expecting, it's such a simple character-design that there's no way to mess it up.
Hal stands about 6.25 inches tall, no complaints there since almost all the male-figures of this line are the same size. Of course, I could complain that they <i>are</i> all the same size and should vary...but no, I'm not feeling that pricky tonight :] I think the jaw is a little too wide, but not enough to make me rage uncontrollably, this figure is a welcome addition to any DC collection. This looks like the Hal I saw in the 90's, I wish they had a "disheveled variant" with the messy hair and stubble, that'd be the bee's knees for sure.
