I was given a Darseid figure in 1989, and was thrown away sometime in 1990. Though the figure was missing his cape and one arm, this figure was cool and Kenner made it on an excellent scale! Though the figure came with a cape, he did not wear one in the cartoon. I bought this figure in 2001 on a cut second series card, which I opened. Not too long ago, I bought a carded one on the rare series three card for $31.62. A C-8/9 loose/complete Darkseid runs between $12.00 to $20.00. A C-8/9 carded Darkseid will go $25.00 to $50.00 for a series two release and $30.00 to $105.00 for the third series release.
